"My art journey began with oil paints from which I transitioned to acrylic. I missed my oil paints until I found the ultra acrylics developed by artist Yvette St. Amant. Her acrylic paint line is superior in delivering a consistently smooth, fluid-like laydown, with extended dry time in a full body paint. This allows more blending opportunities which transitioning artists used to oils often miss. I have worked with several different acrylic brands ranging from beginner to professional grades. The opaqueness, coverage, and flexibility of use in the Yvette St. Amant line is most certainly superior. Her acrylics also easily adapt, by adding water, to use in watercolor techniques without losing valuable color laydown and retention. The creativity afforded in shade variation is also excellent. Yvette St. Amant acrylics have become my acrylic line of choice.
